2024 GMMF Bursary Application Now Open

The Youth Committee is delighted to announce the 2024 Bursary application is now open to youths between the ages of 18-25 resident in Ireland.

To build on its role in promoting eventing among Irish youth competitors, the EI Youth Committee, in conjunction with the George Mernagh Memorial Fund (GMMF), has established a training bursary to assist one youth rider in undertaking a placement as a working pupil abroad.

This Bursary provides an opportunity to mitigate the costs, such as travel and living expenses, associated with undertaking such a placement. The EIYC/GMMF bursary is directed towards riders who have excelled in the sport of eventing and displayed potential and dedication to their sport.
