Event Details

The DAFM Eventing Development Series is open to all horses registered in a Studbook, main or supplementary section, with a specific breed documented within.  This can include main section studbook equines OR supplementary section studbook equines.  Ponies must also have a studbook passport with a breed recorded to be eligible to compete and receive prize money.  Horses and ponies with Identity Documents are not eligible to compete in the DAFM classes. Only members of Eventing Ireland and horses registered with Eventing Ireland are able to compete in these classes.

There will also be two breeders prizes for the top two placed horses in each DAFM class.

Ponies must be ridden by pony athletes only in the DAFM Classes. 5yo ponies can enter the 4yo AE90 class. 6&7yo ponies can enter the 5yo AE100 class

Total Prize fund for the DAFM leg is €8,300

Horses that do not have the correct breeding will be moved to the non-DAFM class. Non-members may compete in the non-DAFM classes.

Jumping Heights

4yo/AE90/TE90 classes will be jumping 85-95cm

5yo/AE100/TE100 classes will be jumping 90-100cm

6yo/AE110/TE110 classes will be jumping 100 - 110cm

The format will be dressage, followed by show jumping and then cross country. Athletes are advised to wear XC gear to do dressage and show jumping phases
