David is 16 years old and hails from Mallow, Co Cork. David began riding at a young age, having inherited his sisterโs pony. After giving up riding for a few years, David got back into the saddle in 2019.
In 2024, David took up the reins on his sisterโs horse, Carla (Tennessee Girl.) With the help of International Eventer, Sian Coleman, David and Carla began their Eventing career, finishing the season with several top 10 placings, including a 3rd at Clyda 1. David was also given the ride on Dougal (Cydonia Frankly Cruising), owned by Iona Daly, and the combination recorded a couple of top 10 finishes in their first few outings together. David is also bringing on a 4 year old, named Storm.
