EI High Performance Contributions 2009-2012:

I am pleased to report that EI and HSI have reached agreement on funding and accounting of the HP Squads.

2009: We have agreed to contribute a sum of €105,000

2010: We have agreed to pay a guaranteed €75,000 from an EI HP Fund raising income from the same sources as last year except HSI, and not EI, will set and collect an HP contribution from those in the High Performance Programmes.

Any money in the EI HP fund over and above the €75,000, to a maximum of €85,000, will be paid to HSI.

The format of accounting of HP Income and Expenditure for 2009 and 2010-2012 has been agreed to the mutual satisfaction of EI and HSI.

The Board of EI will enter into a contract for 2010 with a statement of intent to pay the same amounts for 2011 and 2012. That position will be examined as early as is possible at the start of 2011 and 2012.
